About TBI
In 2010, The Biotechnology Initiative (TBI), operating in its 20th year, announced major changes following the approval by members at its annual meeting held April 8, 2010 in Toronto. TBI became Life Sciences Ontario (LSO), enabling the organization through an expanded mandate to serve members’ needs across Ontario, particularly in the areas of public policy and government relations.
TBI continues as a committee of LSO to meet the networking needs of LSO members in the Greater Toronto Area, both corporate and individuals. TBI will focus on local networking and business building in the GTA through its monthly breakfasts, Pub nights and other events.
